This program, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education UPOU, aims to equip the students with basic knowledge needed in pursuing higher education courses. Currently, Bridge English and Bridge Mathematics courses are offered for free to the general public. These courses are hosted in the UPOU Massive Open Distance eLearning (MODeL), the official platform for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) of UPOU.

Bridge English (25 Mar-20 Apr 2024)

    Description: This short course was originally part of a set of modules for an open, online, bridge course in Basic English, provided by the Faculty of Education for students in the degree programs of UP Open University from 2015–2018. The module study guides have recently been revised to be included in the public service and extension work of both the Faculty of Education and UPOU Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Office.

      Bridge Physics (25 Mar-18 May 2024)

        Description: Bridge Physics explores the basic concepts of classical and modern physics. This short course focuses on conceptual development, fundamental physics computations, and problem-solving, which will prepare students for college-level physics courses. Course topics include classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and geometric optics.
