The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) through its Master of Public  Management Program (MPM) of the Faculty of Development and Management Studies (FMDS) will be offering four (4) Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) on Interlocal Cooperation.

The MOOCs on ILC are free online courses specifically designed to enhance the LGUs' capacity to coordinate and work with other LGUs in achieving a common goal. This course is very timely as LGUs all over the country is currently battling against CoViD-19.

The course has four (4) modules as identified below. Each module will last for three weeks.

  • May 18 - June 5 - Module 1: General Course on Interlocal Cooperation
  • June 8 - June 26 - Module 2: Legal Ingredients
  • June 29 - July 17 - Module 3: Institutional Ingredients
  • July 20 - August 7 - Module 4: Financial Ingredients

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has already issued Memorandum Circular 2020 - 069 to formally endorse the MOOC.

Enrolment for Module 1 is now open. To enroll, just click HERE. You only need the DE Readiness Badge. To get the DE Readiness Badge, just finish the module which can be found in the homepage, under our Featured Courses.

See you online!
